This time last year, I didn’t know if it would work

Wild, right? I do now.

Before I sat down to write this, I pulled two cards.

The 3 of Materials (Pentacles). And the Moon.

The 3 of Pentacles is the card of collaboration - skilled people, doing meaningful work, building something together. The Moon is about what lies beneath the surface. The hidden things. Trusting the process even when you can’t yet see where you’re going.

I sat with that for a moment.

Then I started writing.

This time last year, I was building something I totally believed in but couldn’t yet prove.

I had the methodology. I had twenty-odd years of watching women disappear inside their own lives. I had the book, the rage, the research, and the hope.

What I didn’t have were receipts.

Now I do.

Two whole cohorts of women have now been through Rise Above, my group deprograming programme.

They came in exhausted. Over-responsible. People-pleasing. Quietly furious. Convinced, in the way only a lifetime of conditioning can convince you, that the problem was them.

Here’s what happened instead.

They quit jobs that were slowly killing them.

They had the conversations they’d been rehearsing for years.

They stopped performing and started deciding.

One told me it was the healthiest relationship she’d ever had - with herself, her partner and with the women around her.

We had promotions, massive pay rises and a whole bunch of women who finally stopped apologising for existing.

Women remembered who they were and started to ask for what they needed.

The Voice

I’m not going to pretend I’m gliding into this September launch with total serenity.

There’s a little voice. You probably know the one. The one who knows your biggest fears and insecurities.

“What if nobody comes?”

“What if you got lucky?”

“What if this time it doesn’t work?”

“What if nobody wants it?”

I notice it.

I don’t obey it.

Here’s the funny thing, though. I know it works. I measured it. I have the data, the reports, the evidence. I have women who told me, in their own words, that this changed their lives. I have numbers that don’t lie.

And the voice still shows up.

Which is actually the most on-brand thing imaginable. Because that’s exactly what conditioning does. It doesn’t care about your evidence. It just keeps asking but what if though.

Here’s what I’ve learned: the voice isn’t trying to protect you from failure. It’s trying to protect you from being seen. From wanting something so much it would hurt if it didn’t happen.

Which means when it gets loud, it’s not a warning sign.

It’s a sign you’re doing something that actually matters to you.

And this matters to me. Deeply. Because I have watched women discover how frickin’ magical they are - and I know what that changes. Not just for them. For everyone around them.

The voice can come along for the ride. It doesn’t get to drive.

The universe is not being subtle

Today is a Super New Moon in Gemini. The biggest of the year.

The astrologers say it’s about the stories we carry - about who we are, what we deserve, what’s possible for us. The inner narrative. The voice that shapes everything.

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it.

As a Pisces rising, this one hits differently for me. This new moon is activating my house of relationships - of connection, collaboration, of women in circle with each other. Of having the conversations you’ve been putting off. Of letting yourself be seen.

I pulled the 3 of Pentacles this morning. And the Moon.

Collaboration. Craft. Trust what you can’t yet see.

Reader, the universe is not being subtle.

Because that is exactly what Rise Above is. Women showing up. Being witnessed.

Discovering, together, what becomes possible when you stop performing and start telling the truth.
