How I’m thinking about my work in 2026

(and why I’ve built it this way)
I’ve realised that people often encounter my work in fragments.
The book.
A workshop here.
A course there.
A concept that resonates, without the wider context.
That can make it hard to understand how it all fits together – or whether it’s even for you.
So I wanted to share how I’m thinking about my work in 2026, the logic underneath it, and why I’ve structured things the way I have. Not as an announcement or a sales pitch, but as orientation.
If it helps you understand yourself, or me, or decide what feels right for you, then it’s done its job.
I don’t believe people change because they’re pushed
A lot of personal development (especially for women) is built on the idea that we need to try harder, be braver, speak up more, or finally “get over” something.
That approach doesn’t just fail most people.
It often reinforces the very patterns it claims to heal.
If you already tend to over-function, self-correct, people-please, or take responsibility for everything, being told to “work on yourself” often just becomes another way to turn against yourself.
I don’t believe meaningful change comes from pressure, urgency, or performance.
I believe it comes from:
understanding what shaped you
removing shame from patterns that once made sense
building enough safety to make different choices
practising slowly, in real life
and integrating what you learn over time
And one important clarification here:
The opposite of a “Good Girl” isn’t a rebel, a boss, or a woman who’s louder or harder.
It’s whoever you are underneath the layers of conditioning and shoulds – before you learned who it was safer or more acceptable to be.
That’s why this work isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about loosening the rules that organised you around being good, useful, acceptable, or low-maintenance – so what’s already there has room to breathe.
That philosophy shapes everything I offer.
How I actually work (and what I don’t do)
I’m not a healer.
I’m not a rescuer (any more!).
I work best alongside people who want to understand themselves more clearly – not be fixed or saved.
I help people see the invisible rules they’ve been living by (often since childhood) and understand where those rules came from. Not so they can fix themselves, but so they can stop blaming themselves.
I care a lot about pacing, consent, and nervous systems.
I care more about integration than insight.
And I’m very uninterested in creating dependency on me or my work.
If you want to be pushed, challenged aggressively, or transformed on a deadline, my work probably won’t be a good fit.
This work isn’t a belief system, a doctrine, or a methodology you have to subscribe to.
There’s no hierarchy, no expectation of loyalty, and no pressure to stay.
You don’t need to agree with everything I say, use my language, or see yourself through my frameworks.
What is offered here is a thoughtful, spacious place to make sense of yourself – with clarity, context, and respect for your autonomy.
You don’t need to be ready, certain, or aligned. Curiosity is enough.
My role isn’t to give you answers or become an authority over your experience.
It’s to offer perspective, language, and pattern-naming that you can engage with – or not – as you choose.
If this work is doing its job, you should feel:
more grounded in your own judgement
more able to question what doesn’t fit
less reliant on external approval
more at home in your own discernment
Take what’s useful.
Leave what isn’t.
You’re welcome to come and go as you need.
Why I’ve built my work as an ecosystem, not a funnel
In 2026, my work is structured as a set of entry points and containers, not a ladder you’re meant to climb.
There’s no “right” order you have to follow.
There’s no expectation that you do everything.
And there’s no reward for staying longer than you need to.
Each stage exists because it serves a different function.
Intro to Good Girl Deprogramming is about orientation.
Making sense of patterns. Lowering self-blame. Understanding what’s been happening without being asked to change anything yet.
Foundations is about safety and understanding.
Slowing down, removing shame, and learning to relate to your patterns with clarity rather than criticism.
The 7 Keys is about practice.
Gently bringing what you’ve understood into real life – boundaries, desire, emotional capacity, visibility – without turning growth into another performance.
Rise Above is about long-term integration.
A sustained container and community where the work becomes lived, relational, and supported over time.
Some women only need one of these stages.
Some move through a few.
Some want the full journey held in one container from the start.
All of those choices are valid.

One important thing about Rise Above
Rise Above isn’t designed as a one-and-done programme.
If you join once, you’re invited back in future years for as long as I’m running it – at no additional cost.
This isn’t about repeating the same experience.
It’s about recognising that integration happens in layers, and that different things land at different times.
And because I genuinely love doing this work (I really do), I expect Rise Above to be around for a long while yet.
There’s no rush to “get it all” in one go.
Why I simplified the structure (and the pricing)
I’ve deliberately moved away from complicated credits, upgrades, and “this counts towards that” logic.
Not because it isn’t theoretically fair – but because it creates cognitive load, optimisation thinking, and unnecessary friction.
I don’t want people:
doing maths instead of listening to themselves
staying in something “just in case”
choosing based on deals rather than pacing
or feeling subtly managed by the structure
Many complicated pricing structures rely (quietly or explicitly) on fear.
Fear of missing out. Fear of choosing wrong. Fear that you’ll regret not committing now.
I’m not interested in selling this work by activating anxiety.
I want people choosing from clarity, not pressure.
I want people to choose to work with me – not feel nudged, funnelled, or forced.
An invitation only works if you’re genuinely free to say yes or no.
So in 2026:
each course is complete in its own right
Rise Above is designed as a standalone container – key concepts are reintroduced and integrated within the programme, so nothing is assumed and no prior courses are required
and there are clear, simple options for people who want the full journey from the outset
Clarity matters.
A quick note on what this isn’t
This isn’t a belief system, a doctrine, or a methodology you have to subscribe to.
There’s no hierarchy, no expectation of loyalty, and no pressure to stay.
You don’t need to agree with everything I say, use my language, or frame your experience the way I do.
My work is designed to increase your capacity to think for yourself, not outsource your authority to me or to a group. Because we’re not swapping your Good Girl Conditioning for Michelle’s conditioning.
Take what’s useful.
Question what isn’t.
Leave when it’s done its job.
This is entirely the point.
Who this work is for (and who it isn’t)
My work tends to resonate with women who are:
thoughtful, capable, and self-aware
tired of blaming themselves
aware that their struggles aren’t random or personal
curious about power, conditioning, and self-trust
wanting depth without drama
It’s probably not a fit if you’re looking for:
quick fixes
high-intensity transformation
someone to tell you what to do
or a system that rewards pushing harder
A final word
You don’t need to do everything.
You don’t need to do anything quickly.
And you don’t need to be sure before you begin.
Understanding yourself more clearly is already a meaningful step.
If any part of this resonates, you’re welcome to explore what’s here – quietly, at your own pace, and on your own terms.
And if it doesn’t, that’s information too.
Big love,
Mx
